Community Conversation: The Local Immigrants Project

Our diverse Island inspired Mila Lowe to create The Local Immigrants Project as she aimed to foster a conversation about community and culture focusing on the local immigrants who are making lives for themselves. “We have all learned so much while traversing the challenges of social adoption, language barriers, and the search for our own piece of this amazing place,” says Lowe. Hear from some of the people featured in the project in a conversation about traditions, cultures, and humanity. Reception to follow back at the Museum.
